Detection Club Bingo

I recently read The Story of Classic Crime in 100 Books, by Martin Edwards, which has the effect of essentially exploding my TBR list. Not a mystery itself, this encyclopedia resource offers much more than the 100 books suggested in the title. Edwards divided his book into 24 chapters, which made the opportunity for a “game” too great to pass up, since the average bingo card is 25 squares with a free square in the middle. His chapter divisions were also helpful in creating a framework with which to organize reading.

Each number refers to the relevant chapter in The Story of Classic Crime in 100 Books. The images are either a detail from the cover image of a book mentioned in the chapter, with the exception of #3, and I couldn’t resist an image of Hercule Poirot for a chapter called The Great Detectives.
